Site Assessment and Market Study

BSC was engaged by MassDevelopment to provide a comprehensive site assessment and market analysis for the former municipal transfer station located at 5 Incinerator Road in Dedham, MA. The site, which was used as a transfer station until 2019 and is currently utilized for DPW overflow storage, is being evaluated for potential reuse. BSC partnered with Cambridge Econometrics for the market feasibility aspects of the project to provide a holistic understanding of the site’s redevelopment potential.

The final deliverable included a comprehensive report outlining the site’s current conditions, opportunities, and constraints, a summary of community feedback, and detailed recommendations for the site’s reuse. This analysis provided Dedham with actionable insights to facilitate the site’s redevelopment in a way that aligns with the town’s goals and community needs.
