Resilient Utility Infrastructure – Flood Mitigation Analysis

BSC Group worked with National Grid to pro-actively plan for and implement a suite flood protection measures associated with the effects of sea-level rise and coastal storm surge inundation to its Electric Utility Infrastructure in Nantucket, MA. BSC conducted advanced GIS modeling of sea-level rise scenarios and hurricane effects to determine site-specific coastal resiliency planning and design solutions for electric utility infrastructure. Project planning involved permitting, ecological, and historical constraints assessments.
