Crosby Corner Interchange Safety Improvement Project

BSC acted as the environmental monitor during the construction of the Route 2 safety improvement project to ensure compliance with the DEP variance, the Army Corps of Engineers Individual permit, and the NDPDES permit program. Requirements include construction monitoring and reporting, preparation of requests for plan changes, and wetland mitigation monitoring and design.

As part of wetland mitigation monitoring, BSC installed a series of monitoring wells to monitor ground water levels.

BSC is also conducting multiple year wildlife monitoring and reporting of a new 130-foot-long wildlife tunnel, including the use of track beds and camera traps.
