BSC provided integrated civil engineering, traffic engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying services in support of a complete renovation/rehabilitation of the M.D. Fox School in Hartford, CT. The 160,000 square-foot building is completely renovated, and the 5.5-acre site was rehabilitated and reconfigured. Specific services included a facility condition assessment, site layout, comprehensive civil/site engineering, design of new utilities, site access, circulation and parking, landscape architecture, and playground design.

BSC’s landscape design includes a wide variety of contrasting pavement types and colors, several exterior plazas with seating areas, landscape plantings, and three distinct play areas with structured play equipment and landscape planting accents.
