Bedford Business Park

BSC civil engineers and landscape architects provided several conceptual designs for the Bedford Business Park that considered options for placement of outdoor spaces, gardens, and accessible routes connecting the buildings to exterior elements. The preferred design includes a large plaza and adjacent lawn area surrounded by a wall of evergreen trees, gardens and amenities such as a contemporary gas and glass fire “pool” placed within the plaza, as well as a new café and exterior gathering space.

Amongst the exterior improvements were entry way, parking lot, and stormwater management improvements. Stormwater management ­improvements include the construction of a bio-retention area that treats and infiltrates stormwater runoff from the adjacent parking area while providing an aesthetic landscape feature.
