As part of BSC’s continuing commitment to sustainability, several members of our team have successfully pursued accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council. These newly-accredited individuals join BSC’s in-house team of LEED professionals that includes engineers, ecologists, and landscape architects who offer environmentally sustainable solutions to different elements of project development. Our team of LEED accredited professionals now numbers more than 15 staff.
BSC Group has contributed to the design of several LEED-certified projects, including Sophia Gordon Residence Hall at Tufts University; the Boston Children’s Museum; and the University of Connecticut’s Burton Family Football Complex.
BSC is also the civil engineering consultant for The Village at Taylor Pond, a mixed-use development in Bedford, currently under construction. The innovative effort is serving as a pilot project under the LEED for Neighborhood Development program.
