At the 2024 American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Conference in DC, BSCers had a front row seat for “Unlocking the Carbon Potential of Soils”, presented by BSC’s Gillian Davies, PWS, Sasaki’s Chris Ng-Hardy, and Regenerative Design Group’s Rachel Lindsey.
It was an in-depth look at the pedosphere, including soil organic carbon (SOC), and how it is connected to the natural carbon cycle in designed landscapes.
As BSC's senior wetland and soil scientist, Gillian is leading the way in demonstrating how BSC is addressing the climate change crisis through the work we do and is a true embodiment of our Build Support Connect culture and values. BSC's first national presentation at the ASLA conference was well attended and received, highlighting our expertise on a broader stage.
