Multiple disciplines at BSC Group, including civil, survey, eco, traffic, and environmental engineering, have helped our client, David Darling of Darling Development, bring this project to a construction start.
Expected to open in Spring 2026, this project will feature a 94-room Towne Place Suites, a 36,000 square foot Whole Foods, and other retail tenants.
Permitting for the project involved multiple stages in the Town of Seekonk, including site plan approval, special permits, and environmental reviews, with approvals by the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and the Planning Board. Our civil engineering team designed the site layout, while our environmental team ensured compliance with state regulations. BSC also led a state permitting effort with MEPA, which resulted in a successful certificate from the MEPA secretary.
This development project will not only provide new retail options and accommodations but also create job opportunities and boost the local economy. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Darling Development team.
