The brutal murder of George Floyd and our nation’s response have inspired a flood of emotions and reactions from our community. In response to current events, BSC’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee hosted a company-wide conversation on Tuesday. During the session, over 80 members of BSC’s staff met over Zoom to discuss, process, and formulate action items in response to the recent headlines.
Our firm has demonstrated our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion before these disturbing events. Through the development of our Diversity & Inclusion Committee, BSC has confirmed our focus and commitment to making BSC a better place to work and a better partner to those we serve. We are consistently working to accelerate and expand our D&I efforts. President and CEO Sean O’Brien recently discussed the importance of diversity and inclusion during the pandemic and our firm’s ongoing initiatives in this month’s High Profile. We look forward to the ongoing dialog, both with our staff and our community partners, to further these efforts and working together toward a more equal and just society.
