BSC has been awarded a contract to provide laser scanning services to J.F. White Contracting Company for their rehabilitation of the Neponset River Bridge between Boston and Quincy. J.F. White is working for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Urban Parks and Recreation on the rehabilitation of the piers throughout the length of the bridge from Boston to Quincy. The bridge spans the Neponset River, the MBTA’s commuter rail and red line electrified tracks, two roads, and two parking lots. The total bridge span, including land and water, is approximately 2,400 linear feet and contains 23 sets of piers.
