Robert Newton, PE, LEED AP has joined BSC Group as manager of civil engineering for the firm’s Connecticut office. In this capacity, Rob will apply more than 25 years of industry experience to the leadership of engineering projects for both public and private clients.
Rob comes to this new position with extensive experience managing an array of project types, from municipal roadway reconstruction to site planning and design for improvements at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Of particular interest is Rob’s experience providing on-call consulting to municipalities in Connecticut and western Massachusetts, serving as a trusted advisor to help these valued clients plan and prioritize community improvements while making best use of public funds.

Rob earned his BSC in civil engineering from Union College in New York. He is a registered professional engineer in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. His credentials also include the LEED Accredited Professional designation from the US Green Building Council
