Stockbridge town leaders gathered at the Massachusetts State House to receive the maximum possible MassWorks Small Town Rural Assistance Program (STRAP) grant. The $1 million award is to replace the badly deteriorated and heavily traveled Larrywaug Bridge on Route 183. Stockbridge representatives were congratulated by Governor Charlie Baker, Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito, and Housing and Economic Development Secretary Jay Ash at the Grand Staircase as part of STRAP ceremony on October 10, 2017.
