BSC Celebrates the Recently Completed Rand-Whitney Expansion Project at Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

BSC’s Will Walter attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently completed Rand-Whitney Expansion project, a manufacturing and storage facility located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. As pictured, in attendance of the ribbon cutting ceremony was owner Robert Kraft, Governor Gina Raimondo, and Mayor Donald Grebien. BSC provided the civil/site engineering, landscape architecture, permitting, and construction phase services for the 60,000 square-foot addition, which includes a new employee area, parking lot upgrades to meet accessibility requirements, and a new stormwater management system that improves storm drainage, runoff control and water quality treatments. BSC’s design also includes new employee and visitor parking as well as renovated loading areas to improve product receiving and shipping. Additionally, BSC led the permitting process and successfully obtained local permits through the Pawtucket Zoning Board of Review, Pawtucket City Commission and the Rhode Island Stormwater General Permit for Construction Activity.
